Guide to Understanding Generative Grammar
Generative Grammar is a modern course in the field of Applied English Linguistics. A generative parse tree: the sentence is divided into a noun phrase (subject), and a verb phrase which includes the object. This is in contrast to structural and functional grammar which consider the subject and object as equal constituents (Wikipedia). This short book is the third book which is the result of a summary of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) from the author when he attended the Generative Grammar Course in Semester I, Doctoral Program in Applied English Linguistics, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Jakarta
